Always make sure your landing page (the page your web address points to, usually your website homepage) has a Title using the html title tags <title>your websites keywords & phrases</title> and that it includes key words and phrases relevant to your site and for which you wish to be found on search engines.
If you use any form of website design software or online website setup then be sure to fill in the box that says Title or Page Title. Separate your keywords & phrases in the title with a comma, hyphen or other seperator, but be careful not to over do it, maybe 6 to 10 words or short phrases, also put your most important ones first.
If your main area of business is the Isle of Wight then include this in your title ie. if I'm looking for a taxi firm and I live on the Isle of Wight then it's pointless to go to Google and just type in taxi firms, I'm gonna get a massive quantity of irrelevant results, so as a user of a search engine I would type in taxi firms Isle of Wight or iow taxis and so on... This is where you need to think of the most relevant words or phrases that you want your site to be found for and include them in your title.
It's also worth remembering that if you are a new site whose name is unknown to anyone then provided your website address is your site name then you don't have to repeat your site name in the Title tags, so you can use the entire title for other words and phrases that you think people will enter into a search engine.
This is just one of many SEO techniques that can help your site get found.
